Rodrigo Rangel de Alba is a French–Mexican photojournalist and cultural explorer who, in May 2025, completed a 35-year journey to visit all 197 countries in the world, 193 UN member states and 4 observers.
He is the first Mexican man to achieve this milestone, one of the rarest accomplishments on Earth.
According to CNN, around 400 people have ever completed the same journey, fewer than the 676 who have traveled into space.
Rodrigo is also a LUX Photo Lab ambassador and a permanent contributor to Light & Paper Magazine, where he continues to share the stories, cultures, and human experiences gathered throughout his travels.
